1. The minutes of the Cambridge meeting in 2007 were accepted.

2. Dr. Laura Bennet, the Society Coordinator, expressed grateful thanks to organizers of

Sendai meeting, and in particular to the convener, Dr. Kunihiro Okamura and his

colleagues. The meeting was agreed by all to be superb academically and socially.

Members of their Society applauded enthusiastically.

3. Website update. Dr. Laura Bennet reported continuous progress in the activity of the

website with abstracts and photographs now available.

4. Finances

a. Seed money from prior meeting will continue to be available to the subsequent convener.

b. FNPS bank account for petty cash is being considered

i. Consider 1% tax on registration dues
ii. A membership fee was rejected again by the meeting

c. We reinstated the intent to restrict registration fee, 3 day hotel and food with shared room, to € 600 per person.

5. Changes to the Board

a. Laura Bennet is stepping down as coordinator
b. Board proposed Jan Nijhuis as new Coordinator, and this was unanimously accepted by the meeting.
c. Dino Giussani in the new Scribe, and will assume this function at the 2008 meeting.

6. FNPS archives

a. 3 Sites, USA, Europe, Australia
b. An appeal was made for early abstract books
c. An appeal was made for any photos FNPS sporting events, conferences, dinners, etc

7. Future meetings

a. 2008. June 22-25, Maastricht, the Netherlands, Jan Nijhuis
b. 2009. Chile had to withdraw. There were proposals for Florida, (Charlie Wood), or British Clumbia, (Don Rurak)
c. 2010. Australasia? Sweden?

8. Student Prizes

a. Poster and oral prizes were announced at banquet. They were as follows:
